Macbook Pro 2009 15인치 모델에 El Capitan 설치하려고 설치 USB 를 만들어서 진행했다.

위 페이지에 보면 터미널에 아래 명령어를 넣으면 된다. 먼저 다운로드 받은 El Capitian 설치 이미지가 있어야 한다.

sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app

위 /Volumes/MyVolume 부분은 USB 경로이니, 적절히 바꾸어 주어야 한다. /Volumes 글씨 s 다음에 커서를 두고 탭을 두번치면, 현재 꽂혀져 있는 USB의 경로를 확인할 수 있다.

그런데 위에서 만든 USB로 설치를 하려고 했는데, 설치가 잘 되지 않았다. 구글에 검색해 봤는데 아래 페이지의 댓글중에 해결책이 있었다.

Here's the fix for that. (assuming you have a bootable USB installer for El Capitan) Boot to your El Capitan installer. At the menu screen - Open the terminal. Type the command: date 1116211618 Press enter to run that command. (This changes the system date) Quit Terminal to return to the main menu. Install OS X. (It will install - without that error!)

That trick has been around on a variety of threads on this site for at least a couple of years. - why does it work? The installer certificate expired some time ago. The terminal command resets the date on your system to an earlier date - which allows the installer to do its job. Doesn't have to be exactly that date, others that do the trick are posted elsewhere, that one works for me. After the install, you do need to check that the time reset itself (and it should, by default, when you next connect to the internet.) El Capitan happens to be one that needs that bit of adjustment of the system time. (Apple likely won't fix it). Might be another that will also respond to the date change, Sierra, I think.

설치 파일의 Certificate 이 만료되었기 때문이었다.
해결책은 터미널을 열어서, 시스템의 날짜를 과거로 돌리는 것이었다.

앞서 가신 고수분들의 은혜가 있었기에 무사히 El Capitan 설치를 결국 마무리했다!
